Our custom approach to landscape design begins with understanding our clients’ lifestyle goals. Rather than providing cookie-cutter options, we bring 25+ years of creative design solutions to the table, envisioning each project as an organic extension of your home.

At the same time, we view outdoor living as a meaningful investment in both quality of life and the value of your property. So when it comes to implementing a budget, we closely consult with each client to maximize returns—both financially and experientially.

This perspective influences our selection of trusted subcontractors and materials, ensuring that we provide lasting value in each design collaboration. As experts in landscaping for the Colorado climate, we consider questions of sustainability, maintenance and overall longevity, educating our clients on the ongoing impacts of their preferred design choices.

This design-forward, value-oriented and climate-specific approach forms the bedrock of our transparent, collaborative client relationships. With a consistent manager assigned to each project throughout the design-build process, you can feel confident in our ability to build the backyard of your dreams.

Phase Three: Build

Helmed by a dedicated project manager, each aspect of the project build will be executed by trusted specialists in their trades—with respect for your home and property being our first priority. If delays, unforeseen conditions or scope changes arise, they will be address transparently and promptly.

A Family-Led Studio

As parents and small business owners, our time outdoors is precious. From trails and parks to our own backyard, these are the places where so many of our Colorado memories have been made—and the spaces where we feel most connected to our son, Theo.

In turn, we have a deep personal connection with our roles as the owners and leaders of Waymark Outdoor Design. We understand that reimagining a property’s landscaping doesn’t just transform the aesthetics—it can meaningfully impact relationships with family members and the way we enjoy time at home.

With that intention, we’ve assembled a team of talented project managers, landscape architects, designers and contractors who share this same vision and set of values. Our success as a business is largely due to their partnership and to their shared investment in enhancing the lifestyle of every Waymark client.
