Brookhaven Water Court

BROOKHAVEN, LITTLETON

Conceived as a modern outdoor water court, this Brookhaven residence called for a landscape that matched the home’s architectural precision while transforming the backyard into a destination for gathering and recreation. The design centers on clean geometry, open sightlines, and a structured sequence of outdoor rooms that feel graphic, intentional, and fully integrated with the contemporary home.

Anchored by a refined pool and raised spa, the terrace unfolds through a distinctive stone-and-turf grid that introduces rhythm and texture underfoot. Integrated water elements bring movement and atmosphere, while pergola-shaded lounging and layered seating zones allow the space to transition seamlessly from daytime calm to evening entertaining. Carefully composed lighting enhances the experience after dark, giving the landscape depth and presence well beyond the water’s edge.

Executed in collaboration with the home’s architectural team at Larsen Group as part of a 2024 MAME Awards–recognized residence, the finished environment reflects a modern approach to outdoor architecture—crisp, immersive, and designed to live beautifully year-round.

“The patio, seating wall, and fire pit are beautiful, and the project finished on time and on budget despite some rainy weather. The crew was polite, the process was seamless, and the follow-through and management were impeccable.”
