Set against the dramatic backdrop of Colorado’s red rock terrain, this residence called for an outdoor environment that felt timeless, grounded, and deeply connected to its surroundings. The homeowners envisioned a resort-like setting—one that balanced refined luxury with the rugged beauty of the foothills.
Waymark approached the design as an extension of the home’s architecture, using natural stone, warm textures, and layered outdoor living spaces to create a retreat that feels both elevated and effortless. The pool and spa anchor the experience as a central focal point, framed by expansive views and carefully composed gathering zones. Firelit seating areas are tucked into more intimate corners of the landscape, while open-air dining and lounge terraces allow the space to transition seamlessly from day to evening.
Softly illuminated pathways and climate-resilient plantings complete the experience, bringing warmth and clarity after sunset. The finished landscape is rooted in place—an outdoor sanctuary designed not only to impress, but to invite daily restoration under the Colorado sky.
