Perched high on the bluffs above Castle Pines Village, the owners of this incredible property already enjoyed incomparable views of the Front Range. Seeking to capitalize on this expansive vista, they hired our team to execute an outdoor retreat centered on an infinity-edge pool. This mountaintop setting and steep, rocky landscape provided unique planning challenges, requiring precise engineering, careful grading and consideration of the property’s exposure to the elements. 

The construction of a series of terraces provided essential support to the upper pool deck, while also serving as functional platforms accented with custom stonework. Beyond the eye-catching pool, an outdoor kitchen and small zen garden were also tucked into more protected zones of the design, while strategic plantings—carefully chosen for weather resistance—allowed us to seamlessly blend this man-made landscape into the wild surroundings. The result is an immersive experience of endless horizon, uniquely placed within the luxurious setting of a private home.
